Nicki and it’s a walk in the park have been walking Simba since he was 8 months old. We have never looked back! I remember Nickis first visit to meet Simba and I knew then he would be in good hands .He loves his walks and is always excited, ready to leave at the door as soon as he hears the car arrive. We have been extremely thankful to Nicki for all the advice and tips she has offered, as well as helping Simba to socialise with other dogs. He now has some lovely doggy friends. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicki and Itsawalkinthepark.
Nicki has been walking Ruby now for the past couple years since she was around 7 months old.There has been a complete transformation in her character as she had rarely been off the lead due to anxiety issues .After months of working with her encouraging ,socialising and building confidence Ruby is now a very happy ,confident within the group. She runs to the door so excited to a Tue and Thurs and comes back home totally shattered.
Nicki and the team have been walking Lottie for 7 years now.I work different shifts and my husband often works abroad. Nicki has been so accommodating and a real god send.Lottie loves her walks with Nicki and is always so pleased to see her.We know she is in really good hands.

We have been using Nicki and the girls ever since our Bichon Frise was a small puppy. Nicki’s approach is so warm and welcoming and from the very first moment that she came round to our home to meet Molly we knew our pup would be in good hands. She is a fountain of knowledge and has loads of great tips which was invaluable to us as newbie dog owners! Molly loves her walks, in fact she waits at the top of the stairs waiting for the key in the door and then madness ensues !! She absolutely loves hanging out with all of her doggy pals and always comes home exhausted. I initially contacted ‘Its a Walk in the Park’ when I broke my leg and was unable to walk my two Tibetan Terriers. Nicky was absolutely perfect for the job. She initially took them on a ‘trial run’ which went really well and she has been taking Mac & Rubble out daily ever since. Nicky is very reliable and always varies her walks. All I know is my two come back completely shattered !!Paddie
Nicki and her team have been looking after Rhum since he was 13 weeks old. After an initial visit it was clear that not only did Nicki know what she was doing, Rhum trusted her immediately! She began with a couple of home visits each day, allowing Rhum to get used to having someone other than us around, and slowly built up to a walk plus a visit and now full day care.
Nicki and Zara have taken such brilliant care of Rhum, helping with socialisation, liaising with us over any issues and supporting enormously with whatever training we are doing. Rhum is now an obedient, affectionate, well socialised dog and absolutely loves his days out. It is such a relief to see him sitting eagerly by the door as soon as he hears Zara pull up and going so willingly for a day with his mates. He always returns suitably exhausted and extremely happy.
We would absolutely recommend the team to anyone in the same situation as us – the flexibility and personalised care that we have experienced has been second to none. Alice
Nicki has been walking Sebastian since September 2015 but he is a lively, loving dog who forgets his manners and size regularly so Nicki has worked with us and on the regular walks to improve Sebastian’s manners and never seems to run out of patience. Sebastian gets very excited to go off for his walk with all his mates and returns an exhausted, happy boy. Nicki is reliable, trustworthy and very flexible with dates for us. Nicki has sent picture of Sebastian on his walks and updates us if there is any concern or worry she has. We would recommend Nicki to anyone looking for a fantastic dog walker!Ros
I am absolutely delighted that I found Nicki and It’s a Walk in the Park I was desperate to get a dog and as I work during the day, I knew it wouldn’t work without a dog walker I could trust. After a bad experience with a doggy day care I was so pleased when I found Nicki.
Nicki has been walking my cavapoo Henry since he was a pup and I couldn’t ask for a better walking service. Henry is walked three times a week and I can really tell the girls genuinely care for him. He is very happy when I return home and it’s clear he’s had a fun day with his friends.
Nicki has helped Henry grow into a very happy and socialised dog. His recall and off lead walking has also improved since he’s been going on his walks.Charlotte
Nicki and the team have been walking Baxter 5 days a week since early 2015 and we couldn’t have asked for a better group of ladies to look after our pampered pooch.
Baxter was a bit of a terror when he started his walks, but he soon calmed down with some obedience training with Nicki during his walks.
I would highly recommend Nicki to anyone I know with a dog. She is trustworthy and you know your dog will be looked after and have amazing walks.
Nicki is always willing to look after Baxter if we are away for a short period and she is always very flexible.

We were initially very concerned about having someone walk our precious girl, as well as giving someone keys to our home! However, Nicki came highly recommend by our neighbour and indeed we’d be happy to make the same recommendation. Nicki has looked after our precious little girl since she came home at 8 weeks old (like a little hamster!) Until Poppy was able to go out, Nicki visited her to make sure she had company and to provide care and tlc on the days we couldn’t. When Poppy was old enough to go out, she was very nervous so Nicki carried her round in her jacket whilst she got used to her play mates! She now enjoys walks 2-3 days a week and she loves it! She always comes home completely shattered and sleeps until we get home, which is perfect! Nicki has always been super flexible and often we will add a walk at short notice and she has always accommodated us. Finally, having recently been spayed Nicki arranged for visits and lone walks whilst Pops recovered, for which we were incredibly grateful. We’ve no hesitation in recommending Nicki (and Sam!).Nic and Jules

Nicki has been looking after Dexter ever since we got him 4 months ago. She was pretty much single handidly responsible for his early socialising with other dogs and we have seen a huge change in the way he now interacts with them. Dexter quite clearly enjoys his time with her and his new found friends. Nicki frequently stays in touch by sending updates and photos of the dogs which is absolutely lovely.
